Dalmatian Paw-ty

My sweet baby girl loves doggies, so there was no question, her second birthday needed to be a "Paw"ty!

Because she's partial to Dalmatians, I went with a white, black and red color scheme.  I also added touches of yellow for an extra burst of color.  Oh, I can't forget to mention, the polka dots and doggy spots because that's what my little girl is made of (smiles)!

All the creations, you see, were hand-made by myself.  Though these projects were very time consuming, they were so worth it!  There's nothing more rewarding then creating a lovely party for your little one!  Especially, when you see the look on their face when they enter the room (priceless)!

This little party was a labor of love!  I hope you enjoy!

 Welcome To The Paw-ty!

I created this custom name banner with my Cricut machine.  Flanking each side are home-made Pom Poms.  I found numerous tutorials online on how to make these, however I found this YouTube video most helpful.

Homemade "Dog Bone" Sugar Cookies
These are my husband's specialty!  They were completely devoured before the cupcakes were even served (sigh).

I found these super cute "take-out" treat boxes at a local craft store.  I added ribbon and favor tags for added color, texture and dimension (I created dimension to the favor tags by using "double-sided foam tape" between layers)!

To dress-up the cupcake holder, I added tulle and ribbon to the bottom tier.  I really like the whimsical look I achieved.

This sweet Dalmatian cake was a custom ordered at Walmart.  This was my daughter's favorite feature!

I created this "E" topiary out of extra materials I had around the house.

For a personal touch, I added my photography throughout the space!

Welcome To The Sweets Station!

I added "Doggy" inspired signs to each dish!

Every puppy party needs...Dog Bowls!  I thought this was an adorable touch!

Banner above the "Sweets" Station.
I found these scrapbook letters at Tuesday Morning (clearance)!  I thought the damask design worked well with the color scheme.

A closer look at the cupcake toppers.  The designs, you see, were created using Clip Art and PhotoShop.

I found this little red can at a local dollar store.  I though it would be the perfect place to house the cutlery. Plus, I thought it worked well with the theme.

I dolled-up these dollar store vases by adding ribbon and favor tags.  I filled them with vibrant yellow flowers and placed them throughout the party.

The party was a hit, but most importantly I had One Happy Little Girl!

You daughter is not only beautiful, but she is incredibly lucky to have such a loving and creative mom. I will have to make sure that my daughter doesn't see this post. Even though she is 20, she might give me grief for not giving her such incredible birthday parties!
